Please keep in mind that we are not currently intaking pets, unless you can foster yourself or if you have a foster lined up. We will courtesy post the pet for you, but you will be responsible for the pet and for the rehoming of the pet.

Rehoming Form

Please think twice about giving up your animal. They are a part of your family! Any place that isn’t your home will be traumatic and very difficult on your animal. Please try and work it out. If you can’t and you need help with a dog trainer or a cat behavioralist, please contact us so we can provide you with resources. If you really can’t, please check for local rescues at petfinder.com or take your animal to Pet Alliance. DO NOT GO TO ANIMAL SERVICES. If you take your pet to animal services/control, your pet will be put on a euthanasia list if not adopted in an adequate amount of time. Pet Alliance will at least give your cat/dog a few months to find a home. Remember that they feel and have emotions just like we do. What is best for your animal is that they stay with you.

In order to find a home for the pet, we require 3-4 clear, different and cute photos of the animal. Will you email those photos to us immediately after submitting this form?

Be creative. Make sure the pics are bright and not dark. All of the pictures should be different. We need at least one full body photo, one close up photo of their face and one cute/unique photo. *Email the photos at betterlifepet@gmail.com

To gain better exposure to finding a home for the pet, videos of the pet are extremely helpful. Will you send us a video of the pet after submitting this form?

A short twenty second video showing the animals personality. For instance, a dog playing with a toy or doing any commands he/she knows, dress the dog up to make it stand out, or show the cat playing with a toy, etc.. *Email the video at betterlifepet@gmail.com

To find the pet a home, we need a fun and honest bio about the animal. Please tell us everything we need to know about the animal. Include the personality, training, obedience, medical history, and unique story about the animal.

Get creative with it! Write the bio as if it were the cat/dog writing it! This is what helps the pet find a home.

I understand that, unless absolutely immediate action is required to remove the pet from his/her current situation, I may be asked to foster the pet until you/we can find the pet another foster or a permanent home.
